Ecofund Queensland is a new initiative set up to champion environmental outcomes in Queensland through innovative carbon reduction and environmental projects. These projects support the Queensland Government's target of expanding protected natural areas and national parks in Queensland to 20 million hectares by 2020.
Ecofund will achieve this by offering a new look carbon, renewable energy and environmental offset management service that will provide an easy gateway for individuals, business and government to make tangible contributions to reducing Queensland's greenhouse gas emissions.
Ecofund's passionate team of experts can provide specialist services in:
- Carbon and renewable energy advice and trading
- Environmental offset advice
- Carbon forestry and footprinting
- Carbon and renewable energy education services
Ecofund is also committed to expanding Queensland's national parks through philanthropic donations to its Give to the Earth Trust. Through the Give to the Earth Trust, Ecofund will directly contribute to expanding Queensland's national parks by 50% by 2020.
